Mecwins participated with great success in the “Towards Future Applications of Bio-Inspired Sensors” congress in Sitges, Spain from 22 to 25 October. Our CEO, Óscar Ahumada, gave a plenary talk on “Ultrasensitive Biomarker Detection: Revolutionizing Early Diagnosis and Precision Medicine”, which was well received and led to fruitful discussions with other experts.
In addition, Ana Lia Bernardo from the University of Teramo presented “Peptide based cholesterol biosensors”, developed in collaboration with Mecwins. This study, using Mecwins’ AVAC technology, presents a new cholesterol biosensor which has attracted considerable interest for its innovative approach to biomolecule detection.
Our research trainees, Anne Parra and Isabel Rodríguez Mariblanca, also presented posters showcasing their latest research in collaboration with universities and research institutes, which caught the attention of attendees.
The event was a unique opportunity to share knowledge and explore future collaborations in the field of bio-inspired sensors. An enriching experience for the whole team!
Here are some photos to share some of the best moments of the congress.
