Breaking New Ground in Cardiology: Our Experience at “Nano solutions meet big challenges in health”

Congress "Nano solutions meet big challenges in health"

Last week, Mecwins had the opportunity to participate in the 1st Congress “Nano solutions meet big challenges in health”. Representing our team, Monica Dias and Antonio Salvador-Matar attended this groundbreaking event, where experts from around the world shared their latest research in cardiology, molecular biology, and nanotechnology.

One of the highlights was the engaging of our team in a round table discussion, where we explored how nanotechnology is revolutionizing cardiovascular diagnostics. We shared insights about our ultrasensitive GNP-based technology, which enables biomarker detection at femtogram levels—paving the way for earlier and more precise cardiac diagnoses.

The conference fostered incredible discussions and networking opportunities with top researchers, including experts in endothelial function, cardiac imaging, and novel therapeutic strategies. The emphasis on gender differences in cardiovascular disease also sparked meaningful conversations about how diagnostics can be tailored for better patient outcomes.

We left the event feeling inspired and motivated by the cutting-edge innovations shaping the future of cardiology. Thanks to Dr. Emma Martín Rodríguez from the Applied Physics Department for inviting us to participate! Stay tuned as we continue to push the boundaries of nanotechnology in healthcare!
